What to expect for your massage?

Covid safety practices: We have all had to make adjustments in our lives in order to mitigate risk and move forward keeping ourselves, our family and friends safe. At Ta-massage bodywork, your safety and health is our top priority. Keeping with current health guidelines, we’ve implemented new policies so everyone can receive self care and bodywork as safely as possible. Appointments are staggered and limited to minimize client interaction, and I am currently only offering 90 minute or 120 minute services. Some other adjustments to the format include:

-Ultraviolet lamps are installed, and treat the room twice between clients. The room is treated once while the table is bare, and a second time when all linens are placed for your appointment. Ultraviolet light can sanitize a surface in 9-11 seconds. The lamps emit a wavelength of 180 nm to ensure efficient sanitization for every guest.
-masks will be provided for every guest, if you prefer to use a disposable medical grade mask.
-waiver: clients are asked to honestly answer and sign a healthcare intake, covid waiver, and agreement to medical massage.
-temperature check: upon arriving, your temperature is checked to ensure everyone is fever-free for their experience.
-olfaction check: loss of sense of smell or taste is an initial symptom of covid-19, and thus we ask for every client to smell a rose that they may take home after their service.
-toe/eye check: other symptoms include puffy red eyes or toes can also be indicative of the virus, and thus a visual inspection occurs before every service.
-ozonator for phone or mask during your service: during your massage, every guest is invited to sanitize their phone and/or mask using an ozonator complete with ultraviolet lamp.
-open window and air circulating: we are mindful of aerosol’s contribution to spreading the virus and have adjusted the room to help air flow.
-Hepa filter: the room is continuously filtered using a hepa filter that reduces 99.1% of airborne bacteria and 99.7% of microscopic allergens.
-fresh fleece cover for every client: fresh linens and fleece covers are replaced for every massage.
-due to the spectrum of demographics that come into the office I’ve made it a priority to get covid tested regularly, in order to ensure that every guest is safe during their massage.
